परिचय

सड़क है न बिजली, न टेलिफोन लाइनें, न अस्पताल। हमने सपना देखा है। हम खुद इसे अपने गाँव लाएँगे – अवाम की ताकत से, मिलकर – एकजुट होकर। उस गाँव में जहाँ हमारा जन्म हुआ था, हमारे पुरखों ने सांसें ली हैं। हमने सपना देखा है। छोटा सा सपना। हम मानते हैं कि ग्राम समुदाय की सहभागिता इसे संभव करेगी। टेंगराहा ग्रामवासी लोक-कल्याण समिति उसकी बस एक शुरूआत है। और इस गाँव की गरीबी और अशिक्षा लड़ाई में हमारा साथ देगी दो चीजें – एक तो है हमारा संविधान और दूसरा है फ्री व ओपन सोर्स के तौर-तरीके और सूचना प्रोद्यौगिकी की ताकत। अपने इस लक्ष्य को हमने अपने पंजीकृत स्मृति पत्र में संस्था पंजीयन अधिनियम 1860 के अधीन दर्ज कराया है।

टेंगराहा ग्रामवासी लोक-कल्याण समिति का प्रधान कार्यालय ग्राम – टेंगराहा, प्रखंड – कुमारखंड, थाना – शंकरपुर, जिला – मधेपुरा, बिहार (भारत) में स्थित है। इस सोसायटी का पंजीकृत कार्यालय संप्रति देवकी भवन, ग्राम-पोस्ट – टेंगराहा, प्रखंड – कुमारखंड, वाया – सिंहेश्वर, जिला – मधेपुरा, बिहार, भारत, पिन – 852128 में अवस्थित है। TGLS का कार्यक्षेत्र संपूर्ण टेंगराहा गाँव है जिसमें मौजा श्रीपुर, प्रखंड – कुमारखंड, जिला – मधेपुरा स्थित टेंगराहा पूर्व और पश्चिम दोनों शामिल हैं। इसके कार्यक्षेत्र में टेंगराहा गाँव से सामाजिक और आर्थिक रूप से जुड़ा ग्राम हरिराहा, प्रखंड – कुमारखंड, जिला – मधेपुरा का पूर्वी हिस्सा टेंगराहा-परिहारी पंचायत का वार्ड नंबर 7 भी शामिल है। इसके कार्यक्षेत्र के सामाजिक, शैक्षणिक और आर्थिक विकास के लिए एक विशेषीकृत एजेंसी के रूप में अपने को स्थापित करना इसका काम है। इसका दृष्टिकोण है गाँव में ऊर्ध्वगामी सामाजिक और शैक्षणिक गतिशीलता लाने और वैज्ञानिक, समाजवादी, पंथनिरपेक्ष और लोकतांत्रिक वातावरण के निर्माण के लिए एक एजेंसी के रूप में काम करना ताकि ग्रामीण समुदाय या गाँव के मूल निवासियों को एकजुट करके गाँव के लोगों के लिए न्याय, स्वतंत्रता, समानता और भाईचारा के लक्ष्य को हासिल किया जा सके।

In our village, we have not any connecting pucca road, no telephone lines, and not any hospital. We have a dream. A small dream. A dream to have everything in our village – we believe that collaboration of village community will make this possible. And the constitution of India and the power of free and open source methodology and related information technology – both will help us in the fighting with the poverty and illiteracy of our village. We have documented this objective into our registered Memorandum of Association under The Soceity Registration Act 1860.

Tengraha Gramvasi Lok-Kalyan Samiti (TGLS) has its head office at Village – Tengraha, Block – Kumarkhand, Thana – Shankarpur,  District – Madhepua, Bihar (India). The registered office of the society is presently located at Devaki Bhavan, Vill+Post – Tengraha, Block – Kumarkhanda, Via – Sinheshwar, District – Madhepura, Bihar, India, PIN – 852128. The area of operation of the TGLS will extend throughout the entire village which consists of both Tengraha East and Tengraha West of Mauza Sripur, Block – Kumarkhand. The area of operation includes socially and economically connected area of ward no 7 of Tengraha-Parihari Panchayat which lies in the east of village Hariraha, Block – Kumarkhand, District – Madhepura. The work of the society is to establish itself to be a specialized agency for social, education and economical development of the village. To act as an agency to bring upward Social and Educational Mobility and to create Scientific, Socialist, Secular and Democratic environment in the village to achieve Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity for the people of the village by engaging the village community mentioned in the area of operation.
